On May 13th Katzie held our annual Surrey Schools Book of the Year Battle in the library. This year six teams went head to head answering questions about the ten SSBOY nominees. Congratulations to team "Fabulous Fries" (Nicole, Ahla, Stella, Meredith and Sharon) who won the in-school battle and moved on to compete in the District Battle against other Surrey schools which was held on May 20th.
Summer is almost here, and Surrey Libraries is getting ready for the upcoming season of Summer Reading Club! This year, the theme is Under the Sea. The program is free and registration online and in person at the Clayton branch opens June 17. Watch the video or click on the link to learn more.Â
