Sora
Sora by OverDrive, a user friendly and accessible online literacy resource for elementary and secondary students. Students and staff can log in using their Surrey Schools credentials and instantly access hundreds of eBooks and audiobooks on virtually any device. Get started by visiting: https://soraapp.com/library/sd36ca or download the free Sora app for Android or iOS. For easy access, all students and teachers can login with their Surrey Schools username and password.
Students and staff can also add the Sora collection from Surrey Libraries to their account. This expands the number of eBooks and audiobooks they have access to which is always great news! To add Surrey Libraries to your account, follow these directions: LINK

Tumblebooks
Tumblebooks is a database of e-books for Grades K - 6 in English, Spanish, and French. It includes graphic novels, fiction, nonfiction, and enhanced eBooks (read alouds). Find out the Surrey Schools Tumblebooks username and password here.
BookFlix
Surrey Schools has licensed access to Scholastic BookFlix. This new service provides a literacy resource that pairs classic fictional video storybooks from Weston Woods with related non-fiction eBooks from Scholastic.
Titles are organized in 9 thematic categories: Animals and Nature, Earth and Sky, People and Places, ABC's and 1, 2, 3's, Family and Community, Music and Rhyme, Adventure, Celebrations, and Imagination.

Read Alouds
There are lots of places online where you can watch and listen to someone else read books to you. These are all reliable sources and videos designed specifically for kids just like you. Many of these books are read by the author, famous actors, actresses, astronauts, or sports stars as well!
KidLit TV
KidLit TV is a fun website and YouTube channel that has read alouds, crafts and activities, drawing tutorials, KidsLitMTV (watch, sing, and read along), and more.
