Serving and helping others is central to my philosophy. Whilst working in Malaysia, I was granted the Malaysian Talent Corp visa. This was awarded due to my contributions to Malaysian society through my work within the AIMS network, the establishment of WomenEd Malaysia and my charity contributions (Pertiwi Soup Kitchen, Rumah Kasih Harmoni Care Home, KIDS Cancer, Great Action Refugee support). Whilst working in The Philippines I have voluntarily made over 100 mentorship matches, and tun online workshops to support women in navigating their careers through The WISE initiative.

The Pertiwi Soup Kitchen exists to provide basic meals for those families and individuals who do not have enough to eat. The PSK provides regular meals at various locations around Kuala Lumpur to the urban poor. Food packs are served from static and mobile units in Chow Kit and the surrounding areas to anybody in need regardless of race or religion. I have been supporting the charity with my school community on allocated Friday evenings since August 2017. We also ran clothes, toys and supply collections for distribution.

A care home in the suburbs of Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Caring for a number of orphaned children from 4 months to 18 years of age.
I worked with the care home for 18 months executing a range of activities: fundraising, generating sponsorship, implementing a reading help scheme, hosting a fun day for the children, running a gift box programme and raising awareness.
KIDS Cancer Charity

Whilst in Malaysia I supported 'KIDS cancer charity' who offer support to families where children have Cancer. The charity supports with medical bills, accommodation for families who have children in hospital long term and also provides goods for children (nappies, milk formula, toiletries).I have organised collection drives, fundraising activities and a gift box project to support this charity.
Breast Cancer Awareness Initiative
In Malaysia, I introduced and organised a week of Breast Cancer Awareness activities and fundraisers annually. The activities have included; bake sales, House events, craft stalls, creation of well-being videos and cards, awareness raising poster competition.
Service Learning at The British School Manila
I have been instrumental in partnering and connecting each primary year group with a Service Learning Partner. Our residential visits are also linked with this work in line with the bespoke Global Citizenship Programme which is split into 2 elements (Connecting with Communities and Connecting with Nature)In Primary.
