Cheers to Inequality: The Gendered Reality of Pricing

March 2025

I'm already aware that lots of products are 'pink priced' and suffer from 'pink tax' but now my social feeds are flooded with ‘hormone-balancing’ supplements, sleep aids and overpriced menowashed ‘must-haves’ because the algorithms know I’m a 50-year-old woman. No thanks, I will take the magnesium in the blue tub rather than the more expensive, pink themed 'healthy for women' tub, which has exactly the same ingredients.

Then, I walk into a bar and see a ‘Ladies’ Happy Hour’ and I’m ecstatic.

Can we be a feminist and enjoy a women's only happy hour with integrity?  Hell yes! This article explains why.

Menopause, the empty nest and reshaping my identity.

March 2025

Beyond the Crisis Narrative

March 2025

Scrolling through LinkedIn earlier today, I came across a post by Steven Bartlett that stopped me in my tracks. He wrote:

"Boys and young men are in crisis. Whilst the last hundred years have been marked by great leaps forward in outcomes and rights for women, in this generation it is boys who are being left behind. And by some margin."

The article explains my thoughts are my thoughts about this 'clumsy' comment.
