I have been centered around faith since I started Kindergarten. I went to a catholic school for elementary school. As I transitioned to a public charter school, I lost my spiritual well-being, but I found a calling to follow the Lord again in mid-high school. I attended my first youth group meeting in March of 2023 at a catholic church. I felt that I encountered God’s presence. The experience was so powerful that I realized that this was where I belonged. A longing to strengthen my faith and help others experience the same love and grace I had found became a reality. Ever since, I have participated in retreats, led youth group meetings, and created many lifelong relationships within my church. My church has become more than just a place of worship; it has become a home, a sanctuary where my heart feels at peace. Recently, I've been going to a more Christian Catholic Church, which has deepened my love. The teachings, the faith, the community, and the atmosphere have opened my heart in new ways, allowing my faith to flourish. I have come to understand that faith is not just about where you worship but about the connection you nurture with God and the people around you. He has created this beautiful life of mine, and I owe my life to God.
