At just seven years old, I was introduced to the world of Polynesian dance when I was registered in a hālau called Te Orama at Westlake School for the Performing Arts in Daly City, California. I felt an instant connection to the art, culture, and spirit of the dance. As I continued to learn and grow, my passion for Polynesian dance deepened, becoming an inseparable part of who I am.
Throughout my journey, I had the privilege of being guided by many incredible and talented teachers, each of whom helped shape me not only as a dancer but as an individual. Polynesian dance has given me countless opportunities to perform and share this rich tradition with others. I have participated in competitions—both as a soloist and as part of a group. I have danced at luaus, cultural events, and special performances, each one strengthening my love for the art.
Polynesian dance is more than just a skill I’ve developed; it is a part of my heart, my identity, and my lifelong passion. °❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・

Unfortunately, in June of 2024, I tragically tore my ACL and meniscus. I had to have a left knee arthroscopy, autograft hamstring ACL reconstruction with allograft augmentation, and a left knee arthroscopy, bucket-handle medial meniscus repair. This left me unable to finish out my year of Polynesian dancing. Although it was unfortunate, it was a redirection to better things in my life. I hope I will be able to return to my passion for dancing.
