Any donation is greatly appreciated and will be put towards Karly's Fund and Family's Expenses.

WE ARE CURRENTLY ARE DEALING WITH THE GRIEVING PROCESS, LEARNING TO LIVE WITHOUT KARLY RAIN, COURT CASES and COPING. TRYING TO JUST BREATHE.

WE HAVE NO CLOSURE and NO IDEA WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS AND FOR HOW LONG.

We want to keep fighting on her behalf for change & to give her the farewell she deserves. Casting ceremony, bereavement process and grief counseling will be a part of our planning. We plan to have a foundation or scholarship in her name as well. Starting a foundation and scholarship fund has start up fees and we want to pay it forward and honor her spirit. This is indescribable and at times unbearable and we thank you for your support and prayers.

We will continue to fight for Karly and urge lawmakers to make change that is in the public's best interest. Karly was killed because violent felons were repeatedly released and ended up killing an innocent young woman with a bright future. This is about more than Karly Rain. It is a problem across the country with repeat offenders being released. The bereavement process is long, unpredictable and indescribable. Losing your child is unbearable and takes its own set of toll on a mother. Losing your only sister... another world of pain. The turmoil that this has left Karly's surviving family that saw her daily and raised her is wreaking havoc on their lives. It is a long road of grief for anyone who loses a loved one, but Karly's comes with a twist of uncertainty and reopening of wounds with court dates, criminal searches, trying to find those responsible and continued unknown. This all while trying to understand life without her. Its a sick cycle carousel we cannot escape.

An escape room without an exit and a roller coaster with no end. Trying to get back to life as usual is really not attainable sometimes. The family businesses are taking a hit and therefore so is the income it provides. Karly's sister is trying to get back to her daily routine and work as well. This process doesn't come with an instruction manual or knowing what each day brings.

We appreciate anyone who has or will donate to Karly's cause and memorial fund.

We hope to honor her memory down the road with a foundation, scholarship, or other form of memoriam.

Karly Rain should and will NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. Karly deserves all the things and to be remembered and honored right.

Any funds will go towards future memorial visiting place, events, expenses and the bereavement journey as well as a foundation or scholarship in her name.

Volunteer to help at events or to spread the word. We always need volunteers to help when events arise. We can put you on our list when we need help.

GOALS

A MEMORIAL SPACE & GARDEN

We hope to raise enough money to have a memorial headstone and garden area with a butterfly bench to honor our Karly Rain, a place where people can go to remember her and chat with her spirit in times of need. We wanted to do this at her great grandmother's home, but are unable to. We are looking for the proper space where Karly was happiest and loved to visit. The headstone and bench will cost a decent amount, so we are saving for this memorial.

Karly was unique and deserves a special one of a kind memorial space that shows her unique qualities.

GOAL NEEDED $10,000

A BOOK PROGRAM and NOOK AREA

FOR HER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SHE ENJOYED SO MUCH

We are planning to create and fund a space at Karly's elementary school with books on learning and things Karly loved... a fun energetic area to encourage reading and growth in knowledge.

We want to start a program that lets lower income children pick from the BOOK FAIR books of their choice. Karly loved books but always remembered being restricted as her mother didn't have much money as a single mom and she couldn't afford many books if any from the book fair. No child should be deprived of finding a book to interest them.

GOAL $8,000 - 15,000

A Foundation in her honor

Opening a foundation to empower and educate young girls to embrace who they are and their interests. A division that will demand change in laws and the justice system for accountability.

Karly's mother is planning to start a foundation to keep her name alive that covers many facets of Karly's spirit.

This foundation will not only spread her love and confidence..but it will work to create change in laws and hold criminals accountable for actions.

A Karly Rain Empowerment Center for young adults to nurture their interests and grow their self worth and independence. A scholarship program to help kids in the trade industries that do not offer help to get to their licenses. GOAL $50,000-$100,000
