Kaleidoscope has grown through far more than the work of the two people who started it. Friends, families, neighbors, local businesses, and community members have shared materials, donated supplies, introduced us to people we needed to know, helped with projects, cared about the animals, and offered their time, knowledge, and encouragement.

As Kaleidoscope grows, community support helps us continue creating opportunities for young people while caring for the animals, land, materials, and spaces that make so much of this learning possible. There are many ways to be part of that, and not all of them involve money.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT

Financial support helps Kaleidoscope care for the animals and learning spaces, purchase materials and supplies, develop new projects and community experiences, and continue building what is possible here.

Kaleidoscope is currently in the process of establishing its nonprofit organization. Contributions made at this time should not be considered tax-deductible charitable donations.

Some of the most interesting things a community can offer aren't things at all. Artists, makers, musicians, gardeners, tradespeople, naturalists, business owners, collectors, hobbyists, and people with unusual knowledge or skills can give young people opportunities to encounter something they may never have discovered otherwise.

New, gently used, and repurposed materials are welcome when they're safe and in usable condition. Sometimes the most helpful contribution is the flexibility to purchase exactly what is needed when we need it. Gift cards can help us respond to changing animal-care needs, replace a broken tool, pick up materials for a project, or grab supplies for an idea that wasn't on the calendar a month ago.
