There are so many ways to help something grow.

Kaleidoscope has already been shaped by an incredible amount of generosity. People have donated furniture, materials and supplies, shared their time and talents, helped us work on the property, made connections, shared what we're doing with others, and entrusted us with animals they love so that Kaleidoscope can become their new home.

There are pieces of this place everywhere that exist because someone simply said, “I have something that might help,” or “I can help you with that.”

As we get closer to opening our gates, there are still some important pieces we need help finishing. If what we're building speaks to you and you would like to be part of it, there are many ways to help.

Help Us Finish Kaleidoscope

Bobby and I have invested a tremendous amount of our own time, work, and savings into bringing Kaleidoscope to life. We've come a very long way, but we've reached the point where we could really use the support of our friends, family, and community to help us finish some of what remains.

Our current goal is to raise $5,000 to help with the practical things still in front of us as we prepare to welcome learners and families.

What Your Support Is Helping Us Finish

Some of our most immediate needs include:

Animal spaces, corrals and fencing
Finishing safe spaces for our growing animal family and for learners to participate in their care.
Petunia & her new little guy 'Laszlo'
Finishing a larger enclosure closer to the schoolhouse for Petunia and her new baby.
Safer poultry spaces
Creating separate areas for our hens, roosters, guinea fowl and growing chicks so learners can safely participate in their everyday care.

Stucco supplies, exterior paint, storage and some of the remaining materials needed to finish the space.

Learning & exploration supplies
Nature-journaling materials, field guides, gardening supplies, workshop materials, outdoor equipment and supplies for experiences like Glow Wild and our Sonoran Desert explorations.
Everyday animal care
Feed, hay, bedding, feeders, waterers and the other supplies that keep everyone healthy and cared for.
A used two-horse trailer
One of our larger, longer-term needs is a safe way to transport our horses and other large animals when needed.
