For my Global Group Project my partner and I decided to compare and contrast North and South Korea. The project prompted us to do general research on our countries and then go into more detail on the technology aspects of the country. I researched North Korea, one fact that I learned that they actually have a lot of issues with maintainging electricity which has impacted their ability to use technology.
Throughout this experience I have learned several things through both my research and working in PowerPoint effectively. In my research I created a Work Cited page in Word which I have always had trouble doing and I never had the motivation or knowlege to persevere learning how to use that tool. I also had more experience using Styles in Word as well. The presentation portion I feel like was much more challenging. Especially trying to communicate all of our point effectively. I feel like we did our best with presenting the information in an effective way, but I also feel like there are ways we could improve our presentation. I think we had the most trouble with the slides that did not have any numbers to make a graph from; it was hard to decide how to limit the words from then on in the presentation. My partner and I worked very well together though. One thing that was kind of challenging between us was that she had a lot more detail in her research which had to be shortened to condense it to fit onto the slides. But overall I think we worked great together.
