I had to find an image, audio file, animation, and video to upload or embbed into my webstie. Then I had to search for their licensing information if they had it listed and if they had any limitations involving being shared.
How to find it? The creative Common's website sent me to wordpress where I searched for "moose" with a filter for images.
Who created it? It was created/posted by an account named Powhusku.
Licensing information? This image has a CC BY-SA 2.0 license.
Sharing Limitations? In order to share you must credit the creator and you must use the same license if you adapt or edit a work under the license.
For this work the proper crediting format would be:

During this lesson I realized that I have never considered licensing of works outside of crediting sources when writing papers. I was aware that with large corperations like Disney that they have a lot of limitations when it comes to the public being able to use their characters. I think that I typically forget about smaller artists also having the same power when licsening their work and being able to control who gets to share it and what happens with it. I felt like this experience was very beneficial for me to realize that even outside of academics crediting the creator is very important.
