Biñan still gives Fiscal aid to students

Biñan highlights scholarships and financial aid programs to boost academic excellence

Biñan showcased their academic programs for talented students in the recent press conference held at the city.

According to Educational Program Supervisor, Edmill Recibe, their goal for the programs is to produce professional people in Biñan.

Currently, there are 1,700 scholars with 79 students having financial aid, and more than 7,000 student graduates with the help of these programs.

Scholar’s skills for scraps

Biñan has actively provided students the necessary aid, through their outstanding talents and passions, where Artista Atleta Scholarship and Technical Education and skills development (TESDA) Biñan have been the highlights. 

Artista Atleta Scholarship ensures those with talents for sports, dancing, singing, acting, etc.

Meanwhile, TESDA offers financial assistance to deserving marginalized students   For those who are passionate about electrical occupations.

Additionally, financial assistance for senior high students was also open in Biñan.

It prioritizes junior high graduates from DepEd schools.

In total, the budget allocated for the financial aid was approximately Php 15 million, with Php 10,000 per students.

This also indicates that they are scholars, but they will be not be required to pass an examination, and instead the scholarships will be based on just rankings.

The upper 10% of all the qualified applicants will then be given the scholarships.
