Edmill Recibe’s educational journey is one that gets stronger with time. As an English Educational Program Supervisor (EPS) and Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) of Biñan, his commitment to education goes beyond learning; like a river that flows to the vast oceans, his thirst for knowledge includes imparting some to the ones who need it the most: his students.

Currently a professor in Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP)--one of the top-ranking universities in the Philippines—at Biñan campus, his goal has always been to produce deserving professionals ready to serve the community with diligence and integrity to excellency.

In order to do this, investments are made to teaching personnels.

The university provides a generous amount of 30 million in salary and benefits for said professionals. A testament that teachers are a big chunk of the equation, ones who make quality education possible in the Philippines.

As a doctor of Philosophy with major in management, he used his hard-earned skill to make positive changes to the education system of Biñan for the greater good.

Though, as given clearly, the current institution is not perfect. Like Recibe had stated:

“We cannot change the system overnight.”

Indeed, while this is the case, our best chance is to study and hope that it gets stronger with time.
