Lydia Yates

Hello :D My name is Lydia Yates and I am currently a senior studying Environmental Science at Juniata. I am the current co- president of EcoHouse, as well as the co-president of habitat restoration club, and I am the JA of the writing center. I am a distance runner training for my first ultra next fall, a life-long girl scout, and I enjoy biking, climbing, backpacking, baking, and crafts. My involvement in EcoHouse revolves around my love for the natural world (especially wild flowers and grizzly bears!) and my commitment to intersectional, sustainable, and accessible outdoor adventure education. Looking to the future, I am seeking a job in with an outdoor leadership school or the national park service, and hoping to become a full time outdoor educator while gaining more skill and knowledge in botany, sustainability, and ecology.

A fun fact about me is that I just adopted a new puppy named Niko :)
