Created for the Roblox Builder's Challenge #1: Ancient Forest Ravine

You find yourself at the bottom of a deep forested ravine. Amid the flowers and grass, there are signs that someone else was here before you, but how did they escape? Or did they? Explore the ravine to discover ancient ruins, old magic, and the remnants of a once hopeful life under this wretched sky.

When creating this project, I wanted to give a sense that the strange terrain was peeling apart over time, resulting in crag-like slopes, trapping the poor souls within its depths. After finishing the terrain, I began adding POIs for players to explore, starting with the rotting abode and greenhouse. Once finished, I began thinking about the life that once lived in there, and starting considering how exactly the person was able to make things like brick, cut stone, and wooden planks. From there, I addressed these by creating their prospective manufacturing spots: a small sawmill, as well as a clay mine, and pottery hut. While creating them, I tried to create them as they would be made in real life, using foundations and a system of interior supports, to help give a sense that they really were made by the person living under that wretched sky.
