Mr. Del Vecchio is one of the instrumental music teachers at JTL Intermediate School. He teaches all seventh and eighth grade band students, as well as students involved in the JTL Jazz Bands and JTL Pep Band. This is his fourth year teaching in the East Stroudsburg Area School District.

A graduate of The Pennsylvania State University class of 2022, Mr. Del Vecchio majored in Music Education with an emphasis in Secondary Instrumental Music. His primary instrument is the saxophone, which he played in the Penn State Marching Blue Band and other musical ensembles at PSU. Mr. Del Vecchio also plays the piano, where he has performed as a soloist and accompanist throughout his musical career. He accompanies the JTL Choirs at various performances throughout the year and has also played in the pit orchestra for ESHS-S Spring Musicals. Mr. Del Vecchio frequently performs with his good friend Mr. Toth at multiple school functions and concerts throughout the year.

While teaching at East Stroudsburg, Mr. Del Vecchio serves as the Assistant Director of the Cavalier Marching Band. He is a member of the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) and Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA). He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Music Education at the University of Georgia.

Originally from Reading, Pennsylvania, Mr. Del Vecchio now lives in Wind Gap. In his free time, he likes to exercise, watch sports, and play disc golf!
