Core Beliefs

I believe that the most important principles of nursing are compassion, integrity and advocacy. The foundations of nursing stand on person-centred care and I am committed to providing care that is inclusive to everyone's unique needs. Nursing to me encompasses the art of interpersonal and holistic dimensions of patient care. Having open communication and a level of trust with patients is conducive to the healing environment. As a nurse,  providing care that embraces diversity and breaking down barriers of systemic inequalities to ensure that healthcare settings are accessible and affirming for every patient no matter their background.
