This project was fun and educational for me. I learned so much while researching this project. I originally chose VR Technology because of how much my children enjoy playing games on VR. However, I knew that classrooms were starting to use VR for learning and I thought that was an incredible idea because if how much kids love using VR for games. I thought, what a creative and fun way for students to learn! I didn't realize how much VR is already used in our world until after I researched for this project. New recruits are taught flight simulation through VR technology, as well as medical students and doctors in some hospitals are now doing mock surgeries and procedures through VR. Many places of employment are also turning to VR for educating their employees on the job training. However, I wanted to focus on education for students through VR technology. After reseraching this more in depth, I truly believe that every single classroom should have a VR set or sets. I know that cost has a huge impact on this not happening for every school, hopefully as time goes on, the price of them will also go down. In my presentation, I explain how much more succesful students are in school by learning this way!
