My stories of theatre
How did theatre affect you?
The stories of my theatre
The first time I was on stage I was nervous, I had done two shows while we were online but I always wondered how it would be in person, I felt brave and decided to audition, next thing I was two wizards, one was beloved In the hufflepuff house who passed away inside a tournament; the other was the most evil wizard there ever was and caused his name to become feared and afraid. From that play on my love for theatre blossomed, a director who listened through different auditions, a ghost who couldn’t stop stuttering, a brother who makes a deal with the king for his poor sister sweet Ophelia, the understudy for the wonder of Monica’s death, a business man finally appreciating life after his time came and left him nothing left but a zombie and finally being an onlooker for the world of Grease. These are just a few stories from my book but out of these pages and pages they’ve taught me quite a few things. It’s okay to lean on others for support and help, you could bury yourself very quickly and it’s not an easy steep to get yourself out of; I almost drowned myself a few times doing this. There’s people here who will support you, it might be immediate or it’s a process but i promise it’s there and it’ll show through moments, large or small. It can help you discover things you might’ve not known such as loving fast pace movements while you dance or telling a story that you can feel the emotions in your bones as you tell a story with other people around you. Whether or not you continue this path is up to you but I promise it’ll change you and for me theatre is the best choice I’ve ever made and I couldn’t have asked for anything else 💜💜💜
