In my current research as a UF AI Scholar, I use GIS to visualize data segmented from Google Street View imagery. This enables the spatially explicit analysis of such data, which will be presented as my Senior Capstone project. 

I use the MS Office ecosystem daily. At the GeoPlan Center, I visualize tabular Excel data in PowerBI. Soon to be published on the DCP Research website, this dashboard allows visitors to see the exciting research that is happening across my college, both in Florida and abroad. 

I am minoring in German, which I supplement with practice in my free time. In Summer of 2022, I had the privilege to study abroad in Leipzig. In Summer 2023, I interned through DAAD, the German Academic Exchange Service, in Hamburg. As a result, I can communicate both in daily conversation and in the sustainability field.

At Grace Grows, I volunteer frequently in their community garden. This involves the manual labor behind making a garden grow. Perhaps just as important is having important conversations about community development and environmental justice while working in the dirt. This brings me closer to my community and shapes the way that I approach my work. 

My coursework in Sustainability promotes a systems perspective. Taking Spatial Thinking with Dr. Hal Knowles has exposed me to texts that connect the technical data and policy work that I engage in with its theoretical roots.
