Working Hunters is a true show of the versatility of the hunter horse on the hunting field. A working hunter horse should be willing and strong, with bold jumping ability and a stockier look and build. 3 phases are conducted to tally up the winner:
Jumping Phase
Flatwork Phase
Conformation Phase
All of these phases are marked out of 100. The rider & horse with the highest score win the overall working hunter class. Judges may choose to judge the classes individually, or all together.
