We approach research as a relationship with the communities whose lives and knowledge shape our work. We aim to involve community members in shaping research questions, interpreting findings, and deciding how knowledge should be shared and used. Across projects, we practice reflexivity, attend to power in the research process, and seek ways to return knowledge to the people and communities who helped create it.
Our work does not end with academic publications. Depending on the project and what community partners identify as useful, we translate findings into zines, accessible guides, clinical resources, training, and policy recommendations. We want what we learn to inform psychotherapy, expand access to care, and support community-led change.
We welcome conversations with students, researchers, clinicians, and community organizations whose interests connect with our work. Whether you are interested in collaborating on a project, learning more about our research, or exploring how its findings might be useful in your community or practice, we would be very happy to hear from you!
