Study Title: Korean Transgender and Nonbinary People’s Experiences in Letter-writing Sessions for Accessing Gender-Affirming Services
연구 주제: 한국 트랜스젠더 및 논바이너리 인구의 성별적합의료 접근 과정에서의 진단서 경험에 대한 연구
Study objective: We aim to understand Korean TNB people's experiences in accessing gender-affirming care, especially in relation to letter-writing sessions. We hope to utilize this community knowledge to inform policy changes and provide clinician education.
연구 목표: 저희는 한국 트랜스젠더 및 논바이너리 인구가 성별확정의료에 접근하기 위해 진단서를 발급받는 과정에서의 경험을 탐색하는 질적 연구를 진행 중입니다. 본 연구의 당사자 커뮤니티 지식은 정책적 변화와 임상의 교육에 활용됩니다.
Participants: Korean transgender and/or nonbinary adults who speak Korean, and who have had experience in either seeking or obtaining referral letters for accessing gender-affirming services in South Korea within the past 5 years (2018-2023)
