Designing a web page for EWU's Prairie Restoration Project
5 March 2020
This purpose of this project was to create a web page for the PRP on the topic of pollinating insects.
Skills:
Used online and physical resources to conduct research on the given topic.
Wrote a short informational web page using Microsoft Word.
For this project I was tasked with doing research on local pollinators for the PRP. After completing my research, I wrote a short web page aimed at informing visitors of the PRP site on pollinating species and their current situation.
Situation— A web page was need for the visitor section of the PRP site on the topic of pollinators.
Tasks— Research and create a web page on the topic provided by the head of the PRP project.
Action—I started by researching which pollinators inhabit the area and how they have been impacted by agricultural development. After compiling this information, I wrote an informational web page that outlined m findings as well as what most visitors would need to know about bee species that they would find on the PRP.
Results—The result of my efforts was a neat, well organized web page that is in the process of being published the the EWU website.
The web page is not currently available for viewing, but the content prototype can be seen below.
