Mission Statement
JNPSD Parent Action Coalition is a grassroots group of parents and community members formed in response to the Bayou Meto incident.
We exist to advocate for student safety, transparency, and accountability within Jacksonville North Pulaski School District.
Our mission is to ensure parents are informed, voices are heard, and policies truly protect children—not institutions.
We believe collaboration, oversight, and community action are essential to creating safe schools where every child can learn and thrive.
Parents are strongest when we stand together. We organize, share information, and support one another to ensure every family in JNPSD has a voice. Our strength comes from unity, collaboration, and a shared commitment to protecting our children.
We speak up — clearly, consistently, and unapologetically. We challenge systems when necessary, ask hard questions, and push for meaningful change. Our advocacy is rooted in truth, fairness, and the unwavering belief that our children deserve better.
We take action that reflects the needs, experiences, and values of our community. Every initiative, meeting, and demand is grounded in what serves students and families. We are solution‑oriented, informed, and committed to building a safer, stronger district for all.
