Guitar at Madison is a course open to all students- regardless of experience.  In the course, students learn to play both current and timeless music, learn guitar chords, basic music reading, rhythm fundamentals, and beginning composition.  Students do have not required outside of class performances, but are given opportunities for extra performances based upon interest and confidence.  Students play at assemblies, pep rallies and school sporting events.
