The Madison Madrigals (Vocal Ensemble*) #928915 audition required, grades 10-12 only

*  Honors Courses- students receive .5 GPA bump

• Placements for Choir Classes will be held in the spring.  Be sure to check the choir website for details.

• All graduating students are required to have 2 years of a sequential elective.  Singing in MadChoir is a fabulous way to meet this graduation requirement.

All students are welcomed to the Madison Choir Department.  Whether new to singing or very experienced, there is a place for everyone.  Auditions are not required  to be a part of the program.  The audition in the spring will be an uploaded recording and virtual sight reading for the first portion of the process.  Some students will be asked to sing further in a live octet setting based.  

All students in the program have the chance to audition for district and state honor choirs, travel with the program, perform solos and in small groups.  Concerts outside of the school day are a required part of the choral curriculum and take place in October, December, March, and May.  We have minimal afterschool rehearsals.  Most necessary additional rehearsals will take place during Warhawk Time.  All Choir students are also able to participate in sports and other activities.
