Our program is dedicated to helping our San Diego community and nation. It is a truly rewarding experience for our cadets. At Madison's JROTC, we have numerous service-learning events and community service opportunities, as a result of our Project Manager Service Learning scouting events for our battalion! #theNEST

Program Overview

We are a cadet-run program meant to help students succeed in and beyond their high school career!

*Although the program is military-based, enrollment in JROTC in NO WAY requires any obligation for military service, nor do we pressure any students in serving the military. If a student would like guidance in military service, our instructors may help if requested.

JROTC promotes skills regarding real life situations and increases the students' awareness of their rights and responsibilities as an American citizen. Besides giving students PE credit, JROTC provides our students with the materials needed to become a leader. There is an abundance of opportunities to organize and participate in events, such as community service, both in and out of the classroom. We have created a positive environment that allows students to strengthen their overall character. Throughout the website we have designated places for specific information you may explore. This includes the teams we offer and content and skills JROTC teaches. We look forward to partnering up with families to create better citizens for the world!

The JROTC Cadet Creed

I am an Army Junior ROTC Cadet.

I will always conduct myself to bring credit to my family, country, school, and the Corps of Cadets.
