This paper addresses social and political issues in the contemporary Philippines with implication to Justice and Fairness. The basic goal of this paper is to explain a Rawlsian-inspired Filipino justice theory to attain an attempt for my conception of utopia in the given setting. More specifically, my goal is to prove the validity of a political theory of Filipino justice that may be analogous to Rawls' conception of justice as fairness, however, suited to the contemporary Filipino context. The result of this research may serve as a recommendation for the government to improve its implementation of justice policies and principles.
