Researchers are finding that if students do not have solid social-emotional skills, the other skills we teach cease to matter much. Employers and those in higher education consistently report that in a digital age, applicants are struggling to master the soft skills that are still so valuable. Working as part of a team, active listening, communicating clearly and coping with emotions are just a few of the things we are working towards through our core curriculum, in small groups, individually and in combination with our Leader in Me program.
