On June 22, 2024 a small group gathered in Florence for the check presentation to help fund the Easthampton Dog Park made possible by the proceeds from "Jesse's Ride" held in May. A heartfelt thanks goes out to all who organized and participated in the ride and in the dedication. We look forward to seeing the Dog Park completed and to many more rides.

Vigil held for young Florence man killed in hit-and-runA vigil was held Saturday evening in memory of Jesse Johansmeyer, a young man from Florence who died last year.

Though the weather was rainy and cold, the vigil went well and dozens showed up to remember Jesse.
