Grief Counseling & Resources
Grief Counseling (tends to be provided by specialists who deeply understand the grief process). This is helpful particularly right after as sometimes it takes a while to be ready to process the traumatic memories but support is needed right away.
Family therapy may also be helpful as loss and trauma put extra stress on the whole system and how people interact.
Some examples of techniques used:
-EMDR
-TF-CBT (typically used for children)
-Flash Technique
-Progressive Counting
