There are so many creative ways we can use AI to create an engaging experience for students. I'm mostly using Claude.ai and starting to try out Claude design.
If you don't have a paid subscription to claude, you can still create. It may be a slower process due to hitting session limits, so be sure to map out your idea on paper before you start "chatting" with Claude.

ACFE Report to the Nations is a great way to show students data visualization and how fraud impacts businesses. I have students review the report and identify 2-3 items from the report that surprised them. I usually offer this when we discuss our Cash/Internal Controls chapter.
Tableau has a public area where users can share their dashboards. I have offered extra credit for students to pick a dashboard that interests them and then answer questions such as sharing why they chose the dashboard, strengths and weaknesses of the dashboard, and how data visualization can be used for more than just accounting.
Accounting in the Wild- where students record something from their life where they saw an accounting concept we've discussed during the semester. They use Padlet to record audio/video and can also reply to classmates' posts. The board can be embedded into your LMS.
Professional organization webinars are a great way to share with students what CPE (learning) in the profession looks like. It's a great way to engage with students and discuss trending topics.
How It's Made. Students pick a video from the playlist that interests them to identify the direct materials, indirect materials, overhead, and something interesting they learned from the video. It often sparks discussion among them without requiring peer replies.
Factory tours are another great option. We have a local candy company that demonstrates the candy-making process. Students watch a session, take a selfie, and write a summary of the process. I've had students group up on their own to go to this. The group pictures are fun, and our local candy company is very supportive!
