Jeff Breault GIMS 2019 Updates | What to Expect in Geneva

Insider Jeff Breault notes that one of the biggest yearly events in the automotive industry is nearly here, and all eyes are on the 2019 Geneva International Motor Show. There are tons of appearances that expected to make their way in the event.

Topping the list of expected presentations in the event are the electric and hybrid lineups from different manufacturers, as the year is shaping up to be a battle of the electric cars. Names such as Mitsubishi, Honda, even Peugeot, are expected to present their own take on what a full-electric car should be. Other noted names like Honda, Hyundai, and Mercedes-Benz are also expected to showcase their own electric vehicles.

Meanwhile, Jeff Breault and other insiders are also expecting supercars to grace the Geneva Motor Show platforms. According to rumors, Lamborghini will top the upcoming supercars battle with its own update to the Huracan Evo Spyder, as it will unveil the 2020 edition of the already-proven beast. Meanwhile, Ginetta will also debut its own beast wonder, as it will present a yet-unnamed supercar with 600 horsepower.

Of course, there are also the updates and upgrades for the everyday workhorse for common folks. Lineups like the Skoda SUV, an update to Toyota’s line of sedans, and the different hatchbacks from popular carmakers will also be on display.

The focus of the event will be on the electric vehicle, though. While there are e-cars already plying highways around the world, the industry has yet to fully take off. Manufacturers are hoping that the 2019 Geneva Motor Show will showcase what the future looks like, and will entice goers into checking out their full-electric flagships.
