Monthly Discussions for Participants in the JEE Mentored Reviewer Program

The PERT team is organizing these discussion sessions to provide more opportunities for networking and training. These sessions will be facilitated by members of the JEE Mentored Reviewer Program project team and members of the JEE Editorial Board. Through small group discussions, attendees will have the chance to meet other participants as well as members of the JEE Editorial Board. Here are other topics and discussion leaders; PERT participants will receive emails from the project team a few weeks before each session:

1.  Framing Your Own Positionality as a Reviewer - March, 28th, 2023, 5:30-6:30 PM EST and March 29th, 2023, 11:30-12:30 PM EST; Discussion leader: Adam Kirn

2. Ethics of LGBTQ+ in Reviewing – April 2023; Discussion leaders: Matthew Boyer and Cindy Lee

3. Grant vs. Manuscript Review  – May 2023; Discussion leader: Julie Martin

We are scheduling two sessions for each discussion topic at different times/dates to try to accommodate participants from as many different time zones as possible.
