Area 1 Impact Award (Quarter 1)
The project entitled, “Programa ng Pagbasa” is crafted in response to a growing need for a distribution of free books in public schools under DepED system of learning in Cabanatuan City. Said books are being used as learning materials and references for Science, Mathematics and English. The project harmonizes also with the peace drive and efforts through a book drive and reading campaign that cater to the learning needs of elementary and high school learners, both in junior and senior high school students as main beneficiaries.
The closure of schools induced by the pandemic halted the progress made by international organizations to achieve SDG 4’s key indicator Target 4.1 which ensures that a percentage of children and young people in grades two or three, at the end of primary, and at the end of lower secondary achieving at least a minimum proficiency level in reading and mathematics by 2030, in which they have been investing lengthy efforts over the past twenty years.
Area 1 Impact Award (Quarter 2)
One of JCI Cabanatuan Golden Grain's signature initiatives, Project WASH, teaches students how to maintain a routine for proper sanitation and access to hygiene kits like hand soaps to help prevent the spread of various diseases, especially to students in public schools in Cabanatuan City. It also aims to address the community's issue of equal access to potable water. JCI CGG ran this initiative even before the pandemic for over three years. From January to April of 2023, JCI Cabanatuan Golden Grain supplied more than 20,000 hand soaps. This effort has benefited over 15,000 students from several Cabanatuan City public schools.
Love ko si Mommy, Love ko si Baby is one of the flagship programs of JCI Cabanatuan Golden grain that aims to address maternal and childcare by providing Multivitamins supplements to pregnant and lactating mothers in Cabanatuan City. The project also aims to educate expecting mothers on how they can properly take care of their babies. The initiative was launch during the celebration of the International women’s month. JCI Cabanatuan Golden Grain invited an Obstetrician/ Gynecologist to discuss the proper healthy lifestyle and the needed nutrients that the mother needs in order to make sure the sound health and well-being of their babies.
Raniag Award, Best Local JCI Week Celebration (Area 1)
Being true to its battlecry for 2023: ‘Determined to Lead Now’, JCI Cabanatuan Golden Grain went all out during the 75th Anniversary Celebration last July 23 to 29 with their jam-packed offerings for their JCI Week Event. With the entrepreneurs equipped with new knowledge to start-up their businesses, with the students who will be enjoying their new set of reading materials and potable drinking water, with mothers and pregnant women who will benefit from the knowledge and supplements for them and their children, and gift of livelihood for generations to come, JCI Cabanatuan Golden Grain has indeed succeeded in achieving its goal to reach out to the community more in this year’s installment of JCI Week.

The BUHAY KALABAW program is a long-term business recovery program of JCI Cabanatuan Golden Grain (JCI CGG), in partnership with the Philippine Carabao Center (PCC) and Arellano University (AU), one of Metro Manila’s most prominent universities.
Now in its 3rd year of implementation, the beneficiaries who received the milking carabaos were trained to properly take care of their carabaos and opportunities in the carabao milk business. Moreover, this year we are covering at least twenty (20) more carabaos in the community who also received vitamins and professional guidance from PCC. Through this, more community members get a chance to have their milking carabaos and help increase their personal income and the whole community’s livelihood and economy. This guarantees the sustainability of the program and, at the same time, strengthens the carabao milk industry in Gabaldon, Nueva Ecija, Philippines.
The #CGG - collaboration of gifts and gratitude, paskong taus-pusong sinupot para sa mga taga-Polilio is a corporate social responsibility project in cooperation with the Jaime V. Ongpin Foundation. Brgy. Polilio is one of the most impoverished communities in the City of Cabanatuan. Christmas gift bags from generous hearts, and a program was organized to celebrate the true Spirit of the Season - sharing a package filled with love.
“BINHI: BINigyang Halaga at Importansya” is a two-week online campaign that includes campaign materials, and a documentary film, and a two-day donation drive for the farmers based in Llanera and Cabanatuan City in Nueva Ecija. By doing these activities, the Jaycees were able to spread awareness to the consumers and appreciation to our producers.
