I am very happy to share that I successfully defended my PhD dissertation in Sociology and Demography at the Pennsylvania State University. I am deeply grateful to my advisors, committee members, collaborators, friends, and family for their guidance and support throughout this journey. Reaching this milestone would not have been possible without so many wonderful people around me, and I am truly thankful for all of it.

[Career] Postdoc at MPIDR
I am happy to share that I have received an offer for a Postdoctoral Research (Research Scientist) position at the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research in Rostock, Germany. The position would involve affiliation with both the Labor Demography Group and the MaxHel Center, where I would focus on occupational and health outcomes among marginalized populations, including sexual and gender minorities. I am deeply grateful for this opportunity and excited about the prospect of working in a new academic environment. After living in the United States for about 13 years, relocating to Europe would represent a significant transition.
