I am happy to share that I have received an offer for a Postdoctoral Research (Research Scientist) position at the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research in Rostock, Germany. The position would involve affiliation with both the Labor Demography Group and the MaxHel Center, where I would focus on occupational and health outcomes among marginalized populations, including sexual and gender minorities. I am deeply grateful for this opportunity and excited about the prospect of working in a new academic environment. After living in the United States for about 13 years, relocating to Europe would represent a significant and meaningful transition.

I am pleased to share that I will attend the 2026 PAA Annual Meeting (May 6-9, 2026) in St. Louis, MO. I will be presenting two papers titled "Sheltered Labor Market for Sexual Minorities: Sexuality-based Disparities in Employment Sectors across State, Occupational, and Cohort Contexts" and "How I Met My Partner: Online Dating and the Homogamy Gap between Same-Sex and Different-Sex Couples." I will also be a discussant for the Gender Inequality in the United States section.
