Jussumnigga

Jussumnigga is a body of work that serves as personal investigation into the sense of self. The show explores how so much of “self-identity” is taught, is constructed by cultural and societal expectations and presumptions, and how that constructed identity must co-exists with the reality of how genuine relationships with people---with familial ones perhaps most central—really make us who we are in spite of those other imposed and often limiting identities placed upon us.
