  In this unit, I learned how technology affects society in both positive and negative ways. I also learned about new and emerging technologies and how they are changing the way people live, work, and communicate.

• Digital Divide: The digital divide is the gap between individuals or groups who have access to technology (like computers and the internet) and those who do not create unequal opportunities in society.  

• What did you learn about researching and presenting information by completing the two projects in this unit?  I learned how to research, evaluate, and use information about technology topics, and how to present that information clearly using tools like presentations and digital formats (PowerPoint and Word). I also learned about global technology issues like the digital divide and the impact of emerging technologies on society.
