• Information System (IS): An information system is a set of components that collect, process, store, and share information.

• Learning Management System (LMS): A leaning management system is software used to deliver manage and track educational courses and content 

• User Interface (UI): A user interface is the point where a person interacts with a computer, app, or website. 

• Waffle: (as related to user interfaces): In user interface, a waffle icon is a grid of dots used to open a menu of applications or tools. 

• Hamburger: (as related to user interfaces): A hamburger menu is an icon with three horizontal lines used to open a navigation menu. 

• CC: CC (Carbon Copy) sends a copy of an email to additional recipients visible to everyone.  

• BCC: BCC (Blind Carbon Copy) sends a copy of an email to recipients whose addresses are hidden from others. 

• Attachment: An attachment is a file added to an email message. 

• Signature File: A signature file text automatically added at the end of an email, usually including a name and contact information.
