This assignment required searching my own name online and analyzing my digital footprint. The goal was to reflect on how online information represents me and what it means for my future.
When I searched my name online, I didn’t find any personal results directly related to me. That’s normal because I keep a private lifestyle and avoid posting personal information publicly.
This just shows that managing your privacy settings and being mindful about what we share online helps control our digital footprint. Not finding information about me online doesn’t mean I don’t exist digitally, it just means I’m careful with my online presence.
I learned that everything posted online can become permanent and searchable. Even though I currently have a small digital footprint, I must continue being responsible because future schools or employers may search my name.
