There is nothing like JA Finance Park!
It starts with a series of interactive virtual lessons, providing a comprehensive rundown of personal finance concepts. And it concludes with a one-of-a-kind “virtual field trip:” a journey through JA Finance Park, an immersive simulation of “life in the real world.”
Self-Paced and Flexible: The self-guided version allows students to access JA’s online Learning Platform and complete the 13 interactive lessons anytime, anywhere. At their own pace. At home. In an after-school program. Or incorporated into their regular classroom learning.
Volunteer Support: JA community volunteers will host 4 Zoom sessions where they deliver supplemental lessons, answer student questions and provide additional support.
Middle and High School: Open to ALL students in grades 7-12. Lesson materials, volunteer sessions, and the simulation itself will be tailored to their grade level.

ONLINE CURRICULUM
Students complete lessons and supplemental activities at their own pace.

PROGRAM TIMELINE
Kick-off Event:
Virtual event for students and volunteers to receive log-in information and program instructions.
Self-paced Lessons:
Students access the JA Learning Platform and complete lessons over a 6-week timeline.
In-depth Zoom lessons:
Community volunteers host Zoom group meetings to answer questions and share supplemental, meaningful lessons.
Party at the Park:
Students and volunteers come together for a badging ceremony at the end of the season.
Virtual Simulation:
The launch of the interactive simulation gives students the ability to apply all of their lessons in a fun and exciting way.
