Steamboats and Settler Colonialism

My project focuses on using steamboats to examine the history of settler colonialism on and around the Ottawa River. Through a soundscape-based audio walk augmented with data and image sonifications, I aim to express how settler colonialism turned the Ottawa River into a piece of industrial infrastructure.
