Travel to Latvia can be done by plane, bus, or train. We strongly recommend booking flights directly from the airline’s official website, as this usually makes it easier to change tickets or request refunds if needed.

Getting to the venue
The best and most up-to-date way to plan your route to the project venue is to use Google Maps on the day of travel, as reaching the venue requires using two public transport buses within Riga.
To reach the venue by public transport, you will use buses operated by Rīgas Satiksme. Both buses can be used with one ticket, as long as the trip is completed within the ticket’s validity period.
Public transport ticket (Rīgas Satiksme):
Ticket type: Single 90-minute ticket
Price: 1.50 EUR
The 90-minute ticket can be used by registering it each time you enter a vehicle.
The last ticket registration can be done in the 89th minute after the first validation, and you may continue the journey to your final destination.
From Riga Airport
From Riga International Airport, take bus No. 22 to the city center.
On bus No. 22, tickets can also be purchased directly from the driver using a bank card.
The ticket price when bought from the driver is 1.81 EUR.
Please note: this ticket is valid only for this single ride and cannot be used for transfers to another bus.
If you plan to continue your journey using another bus, we recommend purchasing a 90-minute ticket instead.

At Narvesen kiosks located inside the airport
At ticket vending machines at the bus stop of bus No. 22
Alternative option
You can also take bus No. 22 to the city center and then walk to the venue.
The walking distance from the city center to the venue is approximately 30 minutes.
Important notes
Please make sure to arrive on 9th of March and depart on 20th of March.
If you arrive earlier or stay longer, this will be at your own expense.
Keep all your travel documents (tickets, invoices, boarding passes), as they are required for reimbursement.
