During the youth exchange Journey Across Culture and Traditions, participants will take part in a wide range of interactive, experiential and non-formal learning activities aimed at developing intercultural understanding, communication skills and active citizenship.
Young people will explore cultural similarities and differences through interactive workshops, discussions, simulations and role-playing activities focused on stereotypes, prejudices and cultural identity. These activities will help participants reflect on how cultural background, traditions and social norms shape everyday life, behaviour and perspectives.
Participants will actively engage in group work, teamwork tasks and problem-solving activities, working in international teams to exchange experiences, analyse real-life situations and search for solutions related to tolerance, inclusion and intercultural dialogue in today’s society. They will take part in digital activities, including video creation, blogging and social media content production, to document the learning process and disseminate project results.
To expand the project’s impact beyond the participant group, young people will engage in interactive activities involving local residents and tourists in Riga, such dance masterclasses, quizzes and informal conversations, promoting Erasmus+, intercultural dialogue and European values in the local community.
The activities are designed to promote inclusion and diversity, ensure equal participation, encourage respectful dialogue and support long-term impact by motivating participants to continue engaging in intercultural activities, youth work and community initiatives after the project.
The activity schedule will be posted closer to the Mobility start date.
