So I decided to have some fun with this one and I created a fake Instagram feed ad about a world domination seminar being taught in DOOM INC. I am pretty sure they changed the entry fee though, so you better ask around.
2 textboxes
3 separate colors
1 model (from pixels)
7 layers
2 fonts
Now for this ad, I wanted to keep it simple and fun at the same time. So I picked my color palette, something bright and colorful to not alarm anyone viewing the ad. I set up the ratio of colors, making the blue cover most of the ad itself. Then I picked the model as someone who seemed friendly but really just got promoted for (REDACTED). Then I made each chunk of color its own separate layer, then added the model, added a black and white filter over him. Then added each separate text box. And I chose the fonts of Arial black, for the text, then Impact for the title, and our very own Evil Empire text for our companies name. The text is aligned to the left side so you can read the text and then see the friendly image of the model.
The original ad had the text color be black, but my professor suggested the change to white to make it flow better with the colors I chose. I 100 percent agree.
