Inmaculada Marín López, PhD 

Inmaculada is a lecturer in the Department of Education, University of Cordoba. She earned her PhD in September 2020 supervised by Professors Rosario Ortega-Ruiz and Izabela Zych. She was hired as FPU/2015 (University Teacher Training) by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport (Spanish Government), in the Department of Psychology at the University of Cordoba (Spain) from 2016 to 2020 to carry out her doctoral thesis and receive training as university teacher. Inmaculada has participated in several competitive research projects granted to Professor Zych. Her research interests focus on emotions expressed and used online, socio-emotional and moral competencies, moral disengagement, moral emotions, and their relationship with antisocial behaviours such as cyberbullying and cyberhate. Member of the LAECOVI research team; the International Observatory for School Climate and Violence Prevention; and the Observatory on Bullying, Cyberbullying and Youth Unrest of the CREG of the University of Rome Tor Vergata.

Elena Nasaescu, PhD

 

Elena is a research assistant at University of Cordoba supervised by Professor Izabela Zych. Her main research interests focus on antisocial behaviors in and out of school and their risk and protective factors. She earned a PhD in Psychology supervised by Professors Rosario Ortega and Izabela Zych. She has participated in several projects directed by Professor Zych including "E-Intelligence: risks and opportunities of emotional competences expressed on-line", granted by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness , "Risk and protective factors against cyberhate in Andalusian high school: A longitudinal study" granted by the Andalusian Studies Center Foundation, and "Is radicalization a family issue? A systematic review of family-related risk and protective factors, consequences, and interventions against radicalization" funded by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and "Developmental change and interaction between online and offline antisocial behavior, its risk and protective factors in adolescence" granted by Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. She has been a research assistant of the "School bullying as a determinant of substance use: A longitudinal study of risk and protective factors", granted by the Ministry of Health, Consumption and Social Welfare. She has published more than 10 articles in high impact international and national journals indexed in JCR and SJR. She has also been a member of the scientific committee of international seminars and conferences.

Raquel Espejo, PhD


Raquel holds a PhD in psychology supervised by Professor Izabela Zych. She is a lecturer in Psychology at the University of Cordoba (Spain). She has been a member of several research projects supervised by Professor Zych. Among them, she has been a research assistant of the project "Risk and protective factors against cyberhate in Andalusian high school: A longitudinal study" granted by the Andalusian Studies Center Foundation. She holds an MPhil in General Health Psychology and collaborates as a psychologist in the University of Cordoba Psychological service. She teaches several courses in Social Psychology. Her main research interests focus on antisocial behaviors online and offline, somatization, socio-emotional competencies and empathy. She has published several research articles in high-impact journals.


Joaquín Rodríguez-Ruiz 

Joaquín is a Phd Candidate in the Department of Psychology of the University of Cordoba, under the supervision of Professor Izabela Zych. He has a Degree in Primary Education (mention in Special Education Needs), a Degree in Psychology and a Master Degree in Psychology Applied to Education and Social Well-being. Joaquín is a FPU grantee and his topic of research is substance use, focusing on longitudinal patterns, as well as risk and protective factors. He was also a Fulbright Scholar (academic year 2022/2023) in the Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Criminal Justice of Clemson University. During his Fulbright scholarship he conducted research about the relation between substance use and problematic technology use, under the supervision of Dr Bryan Lee Miller. His publication record includes several articles in high-impact journals.



Mariano Núñez-Flores


Mariano is a PhD candidate in the Department of Education supervised by Professor Vicente J. Llorent. He holds a degree in Primary Education and an MPhil in Inclusive Education from the University of Cordoba. He has received various research initiation scholarships including the FPU fellowship in the Department of Education, University of Cordoba (FPU20/05802). He is a member of LIEDU research team led by Professor Vicente J. Llorent. He is an active team member of several research projects led by Professor Vicente J. Llorent and a member of two research projects led by Professor Izabela Zych. His research lines focus on personal and pedagogical characteristics of teachers that could act as protective factors against cyberviolence. His main scientific desire is to provide evidence-based knowledge to improve interpersonal relationships among young people.

Francisco Yuste

Francisco is a PhD candidate supervised by Professor Vicente J. Llorent and a member of LIEDU research team. He is a FPU fellow and PhD Student in Department of Education at University of Cordoba. He is currently working and developing research studies related to the promotion of social and emotional competencies and the prevention of antisocial cyberbehavior of students. He is a researcher in several projects, including projects directed by Professor Izabela Zych.

María Dolores Pacheco Romero

María Dolores is a Phd Candidate in the Department of Psychology of the University of Cordoba, under the supervision of Professor Izabela Zych. She has a Degree in Psychology. She is enrolled in MPhil in General Health Psychology. Her research lines focus on antisocial behaviours in minority groups and their risk and protective factors. Her main scientific desire is to provide empirical evidence that contributes to achieving the inclusion of all children and adolescents in society.
