Lisa & her dog Leia only stayed a short time, but the kids loved seeing them.
16 students signed in today. They feasted on turkey sandwiches from the large turkey that Aunty Katherine roasted & Uncle Dennis shredded. So delicious with chips, sliced apples, cranberry sauce, carrot sticks, Jello, brownies & cookies.
There were lively games after some entertainment (see below).
Aunty Youlida had special lei for the tutors. She organized group singing with all the kids. We heard songs in different languages. Rachel and Epanja sang to the group. Lancey and Roley danced a Wildcat tribute.
Epanja, Jack & Jayven were honored since they are 8th graders who will start high school after summer. Congratulations and study hard!
There are new laptops for next school year.
Don't forget to READ and practice writing skills in personal journals during the summer.
