Ten weekly lessons 1.5 hrs each + 1 hr optional hw help (Sun 2-3pm), tuition $325

Little Number Wizards (K-1st) time TBD

Subitizing, breaking down of a number, number line, counting up and down, skip counting, ordering, comparison, anchoring to 10, number patterns. Number games and intro to problem solving. 

Introductory Problem solving (4-6th) Sat 9:00-10:30am:

Number sense and operations, strategy games, visual and number patterns, counting  shapes, personal finance, making comparisons, spacing and gaps, intro to problem solving and math contest practice.

Beginner Problem solving (5-7th) Sat 10:30am-12:00n:

Number sense and operations, strategy games, logical reasoning, math tricks and hands on activities and puzzles, advanced math terms and concepts, intro to various math contests and practices. 

Intermediate Problem Solving (6-8th) Fri 5:30-7:00pm:

Number sense and more operations and functions. Problem solving strategies: diagram, list, table, simplify, pattern, guessing and checking wisely, working backward, using algebra, Math contest prep.

Intermediate Problem Solving (6-8th) Wed 5:30-7:00:

Number sense and more operations and functions. Problem solving strategies: diagram, list, table, simplify, pattern, guessing and checking wisely, working backward, using algebra, Math contest prep. 

Advanced: Special topics (7-9th) Thu 5:30-7:00:

Contest topics: Speed, work, book, clock, handshake, cryptarithm, certainty, logic. Contest prep.

Advanced: Contest prep (7-9th) Thu 4:00-5:30:

Contest topics: Counting paths, shapes, diff. of squares, divisibility, faster arithmetic methods, defining functions, patterns, right triangles, answering w/o solving. Contest practice.

Advanced: Geometry (7-9th) Tue 5:30-7:00:

Geometry basics, triangles, polygons, quadrilaterals, circles and theorems, Pythagorean Triples, Area of polygons, 3-D solids, Euler's formula, volume and surface area of prisms, pyramids and sphere.

Algebra 2 (8-10th) Tue & Fri 4-5:30:

This class covers high school Algebra 2 curriculum in three sessions of 10 lessons each. Materials will be provided. Curriculum include function transformation, linear, quadratic, polynomial, rational, exponential and logarithmic functions, sequences and series, trigonometric functions, unit circle, trig identities, probabilities, counting and binomial theorem.

Precalc (9-11th) Mon & Wed 4-5:30:

This class covers high school Precalc curriculum in three sessions of 10 lessons each. Materials will be provided. Curriculum include function transformation, combinations of functions, polynomial and rational functions, non-linear inequalities, exponential and logarithmic functions, properties of log, trig functions, analytic trig, vectors, complex numbers, partial fractions, system of inequalities, matrices and determinants, conic sections, parametric equations, polar coordinates.
