The Section A leader is Gary Gullone from Galena. Gary has been an IHSA official since 1998. He has worked and volunteered at both IHSA and IESA sectional and state series.  Living in the far northwest part of the State he does not mind driving to Track & Field meets to the east and south.  Gary was the IHSA 2026 Official of the year for Cross Country.
