The fifth conference of Island Biology will be held in Japan for the first time in Asia. Japan consists of more than 10,000 islands with diverse origins and climates, resulting in high biodiversity with unique flora and fauna. There are many interesting islands and studies in Japan, which may not be well-known in the field of Island Biology. During the conference, we hope that the participants will deepen their exchanges with other island biologists and find new insights that will facilitate further development of Island Biology. Please enjoy the Japanese islands!
